Award-winning essayist and poet Amy Wright shares how innovating within your discipline — whether nonfiction writing, poetry, film, tech, or more — can move forward tough conversations on identity, equity, and justice.

Wright is an award-winning essayist and the author of three poetry books and six chapbooks. Her essays appear in The Georgia Review, Fourth Genre, Kenyon Review, and Minding Nature, among other publications. She is also the nonfiction editor of Zone 3 Press and has twice been awarded Peter Taylor Fellowships to the Kenyon Review Writers’ Workshop. She has also received an Individual Artist Grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and a fellowship to Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
