SCAD Writing alumna Asli Shebe (B.F.A., 2017) was recently featured in Connect Savannah‘s “Voices on the Path” series. In it, she discusses the Black Lives Matter movement, injustice, racism, rest, and resistance:

“It’s not enough to only advocate and fight for yourself and your people.  If you really are an ally or a comrade you will take the time to listen and learn and do the deep hard work of actively standing up against injustices.”
