NBC Social Media Marketing Position Available

This entry-level staff position requires heavy travel during football season. The Coordinator, Social Consumer Engagement will be the front-line brand representative for NBC Sports’ social media department working with various parts of the NBC Sports businesses, partners, teams, as well as creating custom content and video specifically for the social media landscape. Mortar Magazine now accepting submissions

Mortar Magazine seeks prose, poetry, and of-the-moment writing pieces. Work that features experimental forms and strong voices from women, gender-nonconforming and non-heteronormative writers is valued. Students should submit work that will surprise to the Submittable page or [email protected].

April Art Workshop in New York

The Wassaic Project, a non-profit organization that uses art and arts education to foster positive social change, is offering a week-long Raku course from April 9 – 16 in Wassaic, NY. This workshop will explore the art and craft of the raku ceramic firing technique and is open to all levels.

Seaside Writers Conference in Florida

Located on the beautiful gulf coast beach of Seaside, the week-long conference will start May 14. This annual gathering of creative writers from all over the nation features award-winning writers in poetry and fiction and nonfiction who offer an intensive writing workshops, one day seminars, school outreach programs and social events.

There are two payment options available to attendees. Full enrollment covering all the events, classes, workshops, and receptions without lodging costs $550 and with lodging $1550.
