C&R Press seeks submissions and editorial staff
C&R Press is seeking diverse voices, as well as  editorial and social media interns. C&R Press hosts readings and events at festivals from the Brooklyn Book Festival and the Miami Book Festival to Sewanee and the Texas Book Festival, to off-site gatherings at AWP.  C&R publishes 16 books per year and has domestic and international distribution. Saints and Sinners Fiction Contest is now open
The 2017 Saints and Sinners Fiction Contest is now accepting submissions. The entry fee is $20, and the grand prize is $500. The grand prize also includes complimentary registration to 2017 Saints and Sinners ($150 value), publication in anthology New Fiction from the festival (Bold Strokes Books), and an invitation to read at the Book Launch Party on March 25, 2017.
Two runners-up will each receive $100. Top finalists’ stories will also be included in New Fiction from the festival. Submissions should be between 4,000-7,000 words. The story should include LGBT content on the broad theme of “Saints and Sinners.” The contest is open to authors at all stages of their careers and to stories in all genres. Santa Ana River Review announces submission deadline, new contest
The Santa Ana River Review is accepting submissions through Nov. 15 in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama and visual arts.  The Santa Ana River Review also is hosting a Dramatic Works Contest, with NO SUBMISSION FEE and a TOP PRIZE of $100. They are looking for unique 10-minute works unhindered by the confines of a production budget or performance restrictions. Visit the website for more information.

Sucarnochee Review announces fiction contest
The Sucarnochee Review is a national creative writing undergraduate journal that accepts poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. The review is accepting submissions for the second undergraduate publication, and also is hosting a fiction contest Sept. 1-Oct. 31. The contest is open to all undergraduates, including past contributors. There is a submission fee of $10 and the first place winner will receive $100, publication and two copies of the journal. The runner-ups will receive $25, publication and copies as well. All submissions will be considered for publication. Visit the website for submission guidelines.
