The Moth Magazine

The Moth is currently looking for work for adults for their Short Story Prize! Submit an unpublished short story of any theme or subject that is up to 6,000 words by June 30 to be considered for this award. The 3 winners will have their stories appear in the autumn edition of The Moth. You can enter and look at further guidelines on their website. If writing for adults is not really your cup of tea, maybe consider sending in a short story for the Caterpillar Story for Children Prize! A children’s unpublished 1,500 word short story is all you need to send in my September 30.  That’s easy enough right? This story should be geared towards children ages 7-11 and there is a monetary prize involved as well as a retreat to Ireland for the 1st prize winner. The winning 3 stories will also appear in the winter edition of The Caterpillar.
