All SCAD writing students, alumni, and friends are invited to the Savannah Book Festival this weekend, Sat., Feb. 13. All Saturday events are free. SCAD visiting professor of writing Gioia Diliberto will be speaking in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall (Chippewa Square) at 11:15am about her book, Diane von Furstenberg:  A Life Unwrapped and SCAD writing professor Harrison Scott Key will appear in the Lutheran Church of the Ascension Fellowship Hall (Wright Square) also at 11:15am to read from his memoir, The World’s Largest Man. The readings and talks–happening at venues around Telfair, Wright, and Chippewa Squares–start at 9am and the day’s last readings are at 4pm. For a full schedule of all readings and authors, go here.
