Peachtree Publishers is seeking Editorial and Publicity/Marketing interns for their 2016 Spring internship program. Both positions are unpaid and candidates  must commit to 10 hours a week for 10-12 week. The internship would start January 2016 and go on until March 2016.

For the Editorial internship, applicants need to be either a Junior or Senior in Creative Writing, or another related field. For the Publicity/Marketing internship, current students, recent graduates and graduate students are welcome to apply. A background in journalism, writing, english, communications, public relations, marketing or publishing is preferred, but not required.

Publicity/Marketing candidates are preferred to have have blogging and social media experience, marketing and PR experience, an interest in children’s and/or YA books, graphic design skills and industry familiarity.

Editorial candidates must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, have good writing skills, and have a strong background in literature.
