Elie Wiesel Foundation Prize in Ethics essay contest

The Elie Wiesel Foundation Prize in Ethics is looking for full-time juniors and seniors to submit essays on the topic of ethics. In 3,000 to 4,000 words, discuss any issues involving ethics from your own point-of-view. Collaborative pieces are not accepted and you must have a Faculty Sponsor review and electronically verify the essay you submit. The deadline for entry is Dec. 14 by 5 PM PST.

Sequestrum New Writers Awards

For graduate student writers who have yet to publish a book-length manuscript in either prose or poetry, Sequestrum will be accepting submissions for their New Writers Awards until Oct. 15. They will be awarding over $500 to up-and-comers in nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. Prose and poetry will be judged separately and there will be a winner and at least two runners-up in each genre.
