SCAD Grads Nominated for AWP Intro Journals Award

GOOD NEWS!
Two SCAD writing students have been nominated for the AWP Intro Journals Project Award:
Alex Keith for her short story, “I Have Known Men”
Jonathan O’Connor for his piece of creative nonfiction, “You Grab Me, You Have Me by My Heart.”
The pieces will compete with other nominated work from around the country for $100 honorariums in fiction and creative nonfiction, and for publication in participating literary journals, including Artful Dodge, Colorado Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Iron Horse Literary Review, Mid-American Review, Puerto del Sol, Quarterly West, and Tampa Review.
Winners will be announced by the Association of Writers and Writing Programs in Spring of 2015.
