Submitted pieces will also be considered for nomination to the Association of Writers & Writing Programs Intro Journals Project.

Eligibility: Open to all SCAD Graduate Students who have taken at least one MFA Writing Class

Deadline: Monday, October 13 2014

Response time: 1 month

GenreAll forms ononfiction and fiction.  No poetry.  If the piece has been published elsewhere, please name the venue in your cover message.  Previously published pieces are welcome and eligible for reprint in Document, but are not eligible for the AWP Intro Journals Project.

Word Count: Works of all lengths will be considered.

Submission Limit: 2 pieces per student

Submission Method: 1 Word Doc. attachment per e-mail submission; 1 piece per Word Doc.

  • Catherine Ramsdell (Atlanta campus students)
  • eLearning and Hong Kong students may submit work to either editor.

Style & Format: MLA, Chicago, or AP style.  First page should contain all contact information.  Last name and page number should appear on all subsequent pages.
