World Trade Center Savannah offers internships
World Trade Center Savannah sponsors an internship program that runs continuously throughout the year. There are four internships available and they are interviewing now for spring 2015.

Interns complete a five-month, 15-hour-per-week program where they work one on one with their department head alongside a team of other interns. Applicants  have the opportunity to apply for one or two departments. Available for spring: marketing, programs and events, trades services, and economic research.

To apply, submit the following via email:
1.    Résumé
2.    A cover letter for each department of interest (two maximum)

Glassworks is accepting submissions

Glassworks  is the literary magazine of Rowan University’s Master of Arts in Writing graduate program. They publish nonfiction, fiction, poetry, hybrid pieces, craft essays, new media, and art both digitally and in print and are currently reading until December 15, 2014. More information about the magazine, sample issues and the submission manager can be found at the website.

October Scarefest Contest

October Scarefest contest is accepting submissions for the best short story that embodies the hair-raising, spine-chilling, disturbing and scary nature of October. Lucky (or unlucky) number $13 earns a shot at the $500 prize and publication on The Masters Review. The deadline is October 15, 2014, and the winning story will be announced and published on October 31st. Further information and the submission portal can be found on the website.

Quixotic Magazine Online 

QXotc.com is currently accepting submissions to their annual PRINT journal. They accept work created in any form or genre, including, but not limited to:

  • Written (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, essays)
  •  Videography, theatre, film and drama
  •  Photography, visual art and graphic design
  •  Instrumental and vocal art & production
