What a terrific week!
Last week aTVfest brought many writers to SCAD Atlanta, and we had the chance to learn about pitching and branding–two things that should be important to all writers.
Plus, we had two authors visit Ivy Hall.
On Wednesday, the fabulous Jessica Handler, author of Invisible Sisters and Braving the Fire: A Guide to Writing about Grief and Loss, gave a wonderful workshop and also read from her work.
On Thursday, the equally fabulous Valerie Joan Conners, author of In Her Keeping and president of the Atlanta Writers Club, joined writing students for a round table discussion.
