Savannah professor James Lough’s new book, “This Ain’t No Holiday Inn: Down and Out at the Chelsea Hotel 1980-1995,” was the subject of an article in the New York Post, “Check out time.” He also was interviewed for an article in the Savannah Morning News.

The Savannah Morning News also featured an article about alumna Kristine Stevens Beeco (M.F.A., 2011) and the launch of her book, “If Your Dream Doesn’t Scare You, It Isn’t Big Enough.”

Harrison Key, writing graduate student and chair of liberal arts, read his essay, “Wishbone,” at the Oxford Creative Nonfiction Writers Conference. Key’s piece won the Southern Sin contest sponsored by Creative Nonfiction magazine.

Graduate student Allison K. Brooks has written three articles for Atlanta magazine so far during her summer internship: “Construction starts on the Atlanta Ferris wheel,” “Atlanta Ferris wheel delayed” and “Ferris wheel almost finished.”

Undergraduate student Jonathan Buckley wrote “Eyes wide open” for CR Fashion Book.
