Amy Paige Condon has hunted ghosts, crabbed muddy riverbanks with a Gullah goddess, sampled hundreds of froyo combinations in the dead of winter and rubbed the bellies of pastured pigs — all in pursuit of the stories behind the foods served on our tables.  As the digital editor of the award-winning Savannah magazine, she has written numerous articles for both print and online publication on food, home and design, fashion and the characters that grant the Hostess City its conviviality.  Amy co-authored The Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook with bakery owners Cheryl and Griffith Day, which was named one of Amazon.com’s Top Ten cookbooks of 2012 and recognized by Food & Wine’s editor-in-chief as the gift to give this Christmas.  Her work has also appeared in The Local Palate.
