Undergraduate student Taylor Kigar won first place in the first Writers’ Studio Writing Contest for her piece “Wives’ Tale.”

Undergraduate student John Young wrote numerous articles for Georgia Public Broadcasting as part of his Winter 2013 internship.

Susan Kemp (B.F.A., 2012) has been hired as a temporary copy editor at Oxmoor House — a role that will begin when she completes her fellowship. She also wrote “To Fellow Artists (In Memory of Roger Ebert)” for the Huffington Post.

Rachael Schultz (B.F.A., 2011) is now an editorial intern at Men’s Health magazine.

Kristina Wagner Stilb (B.F.A., 2010) owns her own marketing and public relations company, Blits Creative Services, and also serves as marketing and public relations director for Sugar Hill Animal Hospital in Sugar Hill, Ga.
