SCAD Atlanta Alum Publishes Thesis

Congratulations to Kerry Burke. Her thesis, “We Are Camp Shady Brook,” was published earlier this year. Burke’s work “examines the camp’s history through carefully selected photographs, memorabilia, historical documents and the author’s personal experience. As both a documentary and memoir, the journey of a family with roots in Prussia and the camp’s present-day life will be explored.” Burke received her MFA in writing from SCAD Atlanta in 2012. She is currently working as a freelance writer and teaching at Reinhardt University.
