Writing Alumna Ariel Felton Publishes in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency

Writing Alumna Ariel Felton published her second piece in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency this week: “Things You’re Learning About White People When You’re Their Only Black Friend.”
Ariel is a Teaching Artist and the Publications Manager at Deep Center, as well as the Managing Editor of Penelope Editions, the YA imprint of Penny Candy Books.
Her work has been published in The Progressive, The Washington Post, The Bitter Southerner, Under the Gum Tree, Atlas Obscura, Scalawag Magazine, Reductress, Savannah Magazine and more. Her book review column “Well, Lit” is published monthly in Do Savannah, spotlighting new authors and books from the South.
