Scribble to Screen #1 Finding Neverland
Jason Fuchs guides you through his experience retelling Peter Pan in the new Warner Bros. fantasy adventure, PAN. The panel will take place at the SCAD Museum of Art on Sunday Oct. 25 at 11 am.
Scribble to Screen #2: Behind the Belchers
Writers Nora Smith and Heidi Schleisinger will share their experiences making their favorite episodes on Fox’s popular animated series, Bob’s Burgers. It will take place at the SCAD Museum of Art on Sunday Oct. 25 at 2 pm.
The Story Starts Here: Nickelodeon’s Writing Program
Nickelodeon Writing Program Alumni will share their experiences in the program and offer advice about how to survive in the world of television writing. The panel will also focus on tips on the application process to the program including what they look for and how to make your application stand out. The panel is taking place on Monday Oct. 26 at 11 am.
Inside Nickelodeon’s Talent Development Programs
Karen Kirkland (VP – Talent Development and Outreach) and Ariel Goldberg (Recruiter – Animation Production) give inside scoops on the programs and a glimpse into what is going on behind-the-scenes. This panel will be on Tuesday Oct. 27 at 4 pm.
The official Film Festival schedule is set to go up on Oct. 1 on the Savannah Film Festival website. At that time, you’ll be able to purchase tickets online or at the Savannah Box Office. Students may receive free tickets for all events before 7 pm by showing their ID. All events that take place after 7 pm are $5 with your ID.
