SCAD Museum of Art
The SCAD Museum of Art offers an unpaid, credit-bearing internship to one SCAD student each summer.
The objective of the internship program is to offer practical training to students interested in gaining experience in museum programming, education and administration. Interns gain a general knowledge and broad understanding of how the museum functions within the context of the larger university environment. Interested applicants should visit the website for eligibility guidelines and email a resume and cover letter. The application deadline is Monday, April 21, 2014.
The Deep Center
The Deep Center, a local literacy nonprofit, is offering four and nine-month writing fellowships for the 2014-2015 academic year. Selection is competitive; only thirty spots are open twice annually. Teaching internship credit is available for eligible graduate students. In teams of two, Writing Fellows co-lead a series of eleven weekly creative writing workshops at an assigned Savannah public middle school. The three-month workshop series culminates in the publication of a book featuring each student’s best work, with a book launch and public reading downtown at the Savannah Theatre.

World Trade Center Savannah
The deadline is near! World Trade Center Savannah is accepting resumes for the two-month summer internship program until April 16, 2014 and for the fall program until April 23, 2014. The structured internship requires interns to work as a team as well as individually. The program is flexible in that interns are able to set their own schedules based on school and work responsibilities. Each intern has a department head whom they report to and gain guidance from. Interns are encouraged to attend all WTCSav events including board meetings and others as appropriate.
