Latest Achievements from SCAD Writing Students and Alumni

Students and alumni of the B.F.A. and M.F.A. Writing programs have been busy earning awards, publications, internships, and jobs. Check out the latest below, and keep an eye out for more in the coming weeks.
Araceli Cruz (M.F.A. 2021) was named Content Producer at The Americano, a political news site created by Latinos for Latinos. Araceli also has fiction forthcoming in Palabritas.
V.P. Boyle (M.F.A. 2021) recently signed with the talent management agency Independent Artist Entertainment (IAE).
Mollie McKinley (M.F.A. 2020) and Maggie Maize (B.F.A.) earned The 2020 Departmental Award, SCAD Savannah’s top honor for academic achievement at the graduate and undergraduate level.
Jay Lankau (B.F.A. 2020) published an article in Savannah Magazine’s Health issue and has fiction forthcoming in The Sunlight Press.
Jessica Farthing (M.F.A. 2022) has published articles in print and digital editions or Eating Well Magazine; Eat This, Not That; Insider; Connect Savannah; and more.
Chantel Tattoli (M.F.A. 2013) has most recently published in Conde Nast Traveler; Architectural Digest; and The Paris Review.
