Celebrate life in the American South with Ken Wheaton

Join acclaimed journalist and author Ken Wheaton as he discusses his career and reads from his work. He will sign books following the event, which takes place at SCAD Atlanta’s Ivy Hall on April 6th at 6:30.
Born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana, Wheaton has published a variety of novels, such as “Bacon and Egg Man” and “The First Annual Grand Prairie Rabbit Festival.” As a former editor of Advertising Age, he has been a Pushcart nominee for fiction, two-time finalist for the Jesse H. Neal Awards and the 2016 winner of the Crain Communications Editorial Excellence Award.
This event, presented as part of the Ivy Hall Writers Series, is free and open to the public.
