Dave Barry is a humor columnist and author based out of Miami. He has been called “the funniest man in America” by many reputable sources (including The New York Times and a lot of people’s old uncles), and in 1988 won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary “for his consistently effective use of humor as a device for presenting fresh insights into serious concerns.” Barry’s newspaper column has appeared in over 500 newspapers, and was responsible for the movement to observe International Talk Like a Pirate Day every year on September 19th. He is the author of over 30 books, including the recent bestsellers: You Can Date Boys When You’re Forty, I’ll Mature When I’m Dead, and Insane City.
On Friday, March 6th, at 7 p.m., Barry reads from, discusses, jokes about, and signs copies of his book Live Right and Find Happiness at SCADShow.
