Caterpillar Poetry Prize
The Caterpillar is delighted to announce its inaugural poetry prize – for a single poem written by an adult for children (aged 7–11). They are looking for an original poem to which they can award a prize of €1,000 to celebrate the richness of children’s writing. The prize is open to everyone. The work must be original and previously unpublished. The entry fee is €12 per poem and you can enter as many poems as you like. For more information and submissions please see the website.
BURNAWAY Emerging Art Writers Mentorship Program
This is an application-based, six-month professional development program for 10 writers (per six-month cycle, two cycles per year). The participating writers work with visiting and Atlanta-based critics and writers each month to develop their writing skills and art writing abilities.
