College Scholarship Writing Contest

The deadline for the fourth annual Enizagam Literary Awards in Poetry and Fiction is April 1, so you still have time to submit your best work!
Winners in each competition will receive $1,000 each, blurbs about their work from the esteemed judges, and publication in the 2014 issue of Enizagam, an established and innovative literary journal published by the School of Literary Arts at Oakland School for the Arts. Winners and finalists will be nominated for the Pushcart Prize by Enizagam’s editor.
The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2014, and the entry fee is $20. We are also accepting general submissions in fiction, poetry and cross/multi-genre, fee-free. All contest and submission info may be found on the website.

Something on Paper is an annual online poetics journal of scholarly utterance and conversation, archiving the critical work of the Jack Kerouac School as well as engaging with a broader community of writers, critics and pedagogues. Each issue hosts cutting-edge literary/multimedia discourse and performs the liminal space between critical and creative texts. Our aim is to document the praxis of poetic exchange.
Something On Paper is looking for book reviews for recent books of poetry, prose, cross-genre, pedagogy and critical theory. Reviews must be 750+ words in length. We are also looking for collaborative reviews which may be submitted as either audio or text.

To celebrate the centenary of Dylan Thomas’ birth in 2014, University of Wales Trinity Saint David invites you to submit a previously unpublished English language poem in response to the word ‘harmony’.
The deadline for entries is March 31, 2014. The winner will be announced during an awards ceremony in Swansea’s National Waterfront Museum in July 2014.
