This project has been a little scary. Its not the actual assignment. It was the lack of knowing an acceptable direction. I think I have it figured out.
I need to get 2-3 designs together so I don’t get behind. I am prepping my silk screens to allow for plenty of design time. I am really interested in printing a tee shirt with a UV/sunlight activated ink. In my post earlier this week, I discussed and idea of printing designs in two parts. For instance, I could print the first part of the design on a tee and then print something over the object with the UV ink. I know that is vague but the specifics are in my post. Plus… I would like to get my idea together before some other random internet user does. Speaking of internet… I have been searching the internet for the last two day looking for an acceptable ink choice. I have it narrowed down to Union Inks Photochromic Plastisol. Because of the nature of the ink, I may hay to switch my way of thinking. Now, I just need to get it shipped ASAP. I have also found 1 business owner that will allow me to do an installation on her business if needed.
I wish I could share a little more but I am a little paranoid from previous design experiences.
