My passion for the arts began many years ago, i remember as a small child my grandmother in Cuba would be able to draw in exquisite detail. Thinking back, that is the earliest i remember being exposed to art. I practiced for a few years with much pride on my sketching skills but it wasn’t until high school that i realize that animation was the way to go. I went to a technical school (MLEC) and majored in graphic design where i learned to use many of the adobe programs. Towards the end of it all i realized that field wasn’t for me. I then looked for something i could do where i would be able to create what ever i could imagine since i was always drawing mini comics and wished they could come to life. Animation was the obvious answer. I could finally bring to life anything i could think of no matter what it was real or fiction. After working on Maya at Miami Dade college, i decided this is worth dedicating all of my time into, i realized that animation was something that i loved and would be willing to work on for how ever long it took. Now im 21 and at SCAD believing that this will be the begining of a great career.
