For this project we had to take a map and destroy it in any way we saw fit.
Afterwards we were suppose to take the now destroyed map and make something that was inspired from the map. Well after having my friend help me destroy the map and seeing her destroying it herself I felt empathy for the map. My project is a personification of the empathy I felt for the map. I turned the now outdated flight map in a bird with wire wrapped around its body holding it back from soaring.
Critique Notes:
The only notes I got really was a positive on my use of the splattered ink to form details on the bird. Some did note that they wished that the wire on the bird was more noticeable, however, it was needed for the effect that I was going for.
