ARTstor has announced the addition of 1,000 images from the Phillips Collection (Washington, DC) of Modern and Contemporary artwork. The Phillips Collection is Americas first Modern Art Museum opening in 1921. The permanent collection includes nearly 2,500 works by American and European impressionist and modern artists. The other addition is from the Council of Independent College Historic Campus Architecture Project (HCAP), which include 4,000 images of 2,100 historic college and university campuses, significant buildings, landscapes, campus plans, and identifies sources for further research.
