The VRC has recently added a selection of ephemera printed by the Ashantilly Press from the Jen Library Special Collections to the SCAD DID. These images can be easily browsed in the SCAD DID by selecting the Graphic Design category and entering “Ashantilly Press” in the Artist Name field. The Ashantilly Press was founded in the mid-1950′s in Darien, Georgia by Bill Haynes and published books, broadsides, cards, and various ephemera until 1991. Over the past couple of years the Jen Library has managed to assemble an impressive collection of Ashantilly Press material. Please visit the Jen Library Archives and Special Collections blog for a thoughtful overview of this collection.

Below is a sample of recent additions to the SCAD DID acquired from Scholars Resource, including images of various Native American sites located in the southwest United States. These images can be easily browsed in the SCAD DID by selecting the Native American Period and entering “Scholars Resource 9633″ in the Archive Source field.
