The Visual Resources Center of SCAD’s ACA Library in Atlanta is offering two graduate internships for the Winter Quarter. Interns will have the valuable experience of working on a slide digitization project and with SCAD’s Artist’s Book Collection. The positions require experience with Photoshop, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Duties during a typical day may include: scanning artist’s book slides, editing images in Photoshop, and updating the VRC’s Digital Image Database. Scheduling is flexible, and candidates are expected to work approximately five hours per week. Internships are unpaid. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to gain professional experience with artist’s books, digital imaging, and managing art collections.

Contact Mary Murphy, Visual Resources Librarian, at mmurphy@scad.edu for more information and send a resume and cover letter by January 30th, 2009 to apply.
