Many museums have started to create seasonal and permanent exhibitions showcasing artwork and objects part of their collections. The Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery host a range of online exhibitions. The online exhibitions feature themes in American Art, Ancient Near Eastern Art, Arts of the Islamic World, Chinese Art, Japanese Art, South Asian and Himalayan Art, and Art Across Asia. One of their current featured exhibitions is Perspectives: Simryn Gill, a contemporary artist who transforms found objects.
