Hi Dayspring!
Thank you for writing to us. We hope to meet with the library during the spring quarter. When this meeting happens I invite you as well as other students interested in this particular issue to join us.
In the meantime, can you gather some information on particular things that you would like seen changed besides the hours?

I know an issue I have with the school is the limited hours of the library, students don't just need access to computers but to actual research material for 24 hours a day. It is a great work space where as monty and dyson have great computers but no books and an insufficient amount of table space to do other work. I know that yall take on issues for to students so I just wanted to put in my 2cents to a group that can actually change things.

This message is for United Student Forum President Robert Paul:

Dear Mr. Paul,

My name is Rebecca Bullard and I am the Office Manager for Citizens for Transportation Mobility, a bipartisan campaign educating and advocating metro voters about the Regional Transportation Referendum. We are reaching out to the SGA presidents of area universities to educate and advocate student voters.

Metro Atlanta faces a transportation funding crisis and a serious traffic problem. On July 31, metro commuters will go to the polls to vote on the Regional Transportation Referendum. If passed, this one-cent sales levy will generate $8.5 billion over the next 10 years to fund 157 transportation projects in the 10-county metro area.

This referendum is the result of six laborious years of working to find a bipartisan solution for the metro region's traffic congestion. Students, faculty and staff at SCAD Atlanta will benefit tremendously from projects such as:
•	$1,727,000 for traffic improvements on Peachtree Street and Spring Street
•	$90 million for MARTA Aerial structure rehabilitation
•	$600 million in “state of good repair” funds for MARTA

Why should you care about this July 31 vote? The travel impacts of the passage of the referendum include decreased traffic delays, improved air quality, an increase in transit trips, improved accessibility to job centers and improved safety due to installing sidewalks and rebuilding intersections. Economically, we can expect a 4:1 return on investment, with our region receiving more than $34 billion in metro GDP. This means more options and choices for you to get to campus, internships, shops and bars. It shows businesses, future residents and other regional megacenters that metro Atlanta is serious about improving our quality of life. For more information on the referendum and its potential benefits, we encourage you to visit www.transformmetroatlanta.com.

Our campaign press secretary and field director, copied on this email, would like to host you and other area SGA presidents for an informal Q&A session where you can learn more about the referendum, how SCAD Atlanta will be impacted and what universities are already doing to educate students and faculty.

Please select your availability for 7-8:30 p.m. on the following evenings. Food will be provided with a cash bar. The location is TBD.

•	Monday, March 5
•	Wednesday, March 7
•	Thursday, March 8
•	Sunday, March 11
•	Thursday, March 15

(Please follow the link to indicate availability: http://www.doodle.com/bn9q9675bi68gcc9)

Thank you very much for your time. I hope to work closely with the SCAD Atlanta community on this issue as we move closer to the July 31st vote.
We look forward to meeting with you soon.

Best regards!

Rebecca Bullard
