WHY I SELECTED MY SKETCHES TO DESIGN

I selected the first horizontal and vertical lined drawing because I felt it was more exciting than the other 24 sketches in that section. the reason i thought this was more exciting was because i thought it created good shapes in the negative space.

The diagonal design was a harder decision because i had many more interesting sketches to choose from. the one i chose however was the one i thought worked well because i had good balance and rythhm in the lines drawn.

The squiggly line sketches were good but I definitely chose the wrong sketch on this one and my execution was pretty poor in my decision.  the reason i chose it however was because it was a safe bet and it made some negative space into some quite funky shapes!

The combined sketches of mine were, i thought on the whole, were very good, and did what was asked of the problem at question. Again it was a tough choice. Why I chose the one i did was because it showed clearly what I was trying to do and it displayed all three of the types of line it needed very well.

CRITIQUE NOTES.

The critique did not really look at all my designs, however I got an idea of what feedback mine would of got with the notes for other peoples work.

my designs were good and created good shapes in the negative space. however i did have a slight glue problem and it was a bit messy and made my craftmanship a little bit less professional.

next time i will try the rubber cement
