The ISSO and Counseling and Student Support Services are truly excited to have students back to campus for winter quarter. We’ve missed you! To celebrate the arrival of our 40+ new students from around the world, the ISSO will be hosting a welcome reception this Friday, January 7, from 4-5:30 p.m. at Casbah Moroccan Restaurant, 118 E. Broughton St. Hot Moroccan tea and baklava will be served. Tea and Talk will be resuming in the next couple of weeks. We will continue to have our Friday fun from 1-2 p.m. in Habersham Hall room 301. The schedule will be posted shortly.

Title: Chinese New Year Celebration
Location: Student Center, 120 Montgomery St.
Description: The Chinese Student Association, in conjunction with the ISSO, will sponsor its annual Chinese New Year celebration.
The “Year of the Tiger” celebration will include a live simulcast of New Year events unfolding in China and Taiwan, fortune telling about the Year of Tiger, as well as authentic traditional Chinese food, karaoke, your name in Chinese calligraphy, cultural performances, and door prizes.
