SCAD Swing Club is a student led club at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, that teaches swing era dances, holds social dance events, and attends regional swing dance workshops and exchanges. We’re all about making it easy to meet new friends, practice your dancing, and have fun!

The club meets every Saturday night at the SCAD Student Center at 9pm for a lesson, followed by social dancing until midnight.

No partner is necessary and no prior experience is required! Come as you are and start anytime throughout the year!

PURPOSE

The purpose of the SCAD Swing Club is to help build friendships, confidence, community, and dance skills.  This is accomplished through regular meetings with dance instruction, followed by social time to practice dancing.
