We’ve learned a lot this semester, from the basics, to some cool moves, to Charleston, and even a little 8-count (that stuff with the triple steps), and had a great time at the Masquerade and the Gender-Bender Ball. With only two weekends left in the quarter, we’re going to finish it up by taking it easy with a Shim Sham lesson this weekend followed by a fun Sock Hop party next weekend!
Get out your bobby socks, saddle shoes, and fine ’50s attire for the decade that marked the end of swing’s huge popularity and the start of Rock and Roll music.
Wear your best socks for a sock contest and leave room after dinner for a root beer float!
