The mosaic project
I really liked this project. It was alot of fun working with India Ink and going through the process of deciding which design was the best. I wish I had done things differently with my design but overall I am happy with it and glad it looked clean. I have never used India Ink before so I was very afraid I was going to smudge it everywhere but luckily that only happened a few times and it was very small on my board. Here are my ideas of different options that I could have done and then the final will be at the end. The comments that were said in class about mine were that it looked very checkerboardish and that I could have skipped using the grid lines to open up the piece better. They liked the craftmanship and that it made you keep looking but that the focal point should have followed the rule of thirds and not been at the very top or since it was should have been left completely white.
