Hello to you too!
Hi, my name is Sarah Paris and I’m a transfer from St. Augustine, FL. I love fashion and am majoring in Fashion Marketing and Management here at SCAD. I recently went skydiving and am going to tell you the details of that since it’s not something I usually do on a daily basis.
My friend Tiffany talked me into it since it was her birthday coming up and without really thinking it through I said yes. The day of skydiving the wait before jumping out of the plane was the worst. I had time to really think about what I was about to do and kept imagining the parachute not opening up. The guides kept trying to say that the odds of jumping out of a plane are alot less slim than getting in a car to drive somewhere but they didn’t count in that there are alot more people driving a car. The time came and I got in the plane. The ride up wasn’t so bad but then when we were just about to jump my heart was beating a million times per second. Then it happened. I jumped and the feeling was so strange, it was like I was on a roller coaster on steroids. We jumped from 11,000 feet and everything went really fast. Thankfully the parachute opened up and moments later I touched down on land and was so relieved. I will probably never do that again but the fact that I did it is something I’ll never forget and a fear I overcame.
Oh and here’s a picture of me so you know who I am!

Oh gosh I would never go sky diving! I love flying but the thought of falling just scares me. CONGRATS for going through with it though!!

I hope one day to go skydiving…it’s on my bucket list! I’m glad your parachute opened! Could you imagine…that is my only fear.

I dont think I will ever go skydiving, I think I would freak out to much, also having a guy skydiving instructor strapped to my back is a big no, Super cool you went, takes a lot of courage

Your description basically frightened me while reading. I would never skydive! Your sketches for Subdivision of a Groundsheet were good!
