That being said, we encourage you to attend our next meeting, since we will be having a Mini-comic Workshop that will surely be educational. Not only will we talk about how to MAKE the minis, but we are also going to discuss the different types there are and how to use them!

First of all, we want to thank you all who came to our last meeting, we hope that you found it to be useful and fun, despite the fact that technology failed us that day.
So guys!
Today John Lowe will be doing a demo on Manga Studio at Norris 101 from 2-4 pm, you should go check it out if you are interested in learning more abou the program.
Also today!
Comic Phonebook is holding a booth strategy meeting from 8-10 pm at the Student Center in preparation for their Artist Alley. We highly recommend that you attend this meeting, because even if you aren’t planning on participating in an Artist Alley in the near future doesn’t mean that you will not need the skills further in the future.

The Savannah International Animation Festival is going to be happening at the Coastal Georgia Center starting at 8:30 am

Hello, children of the all-nighter! Well, you may have noticed every time you received an email from Sequential Art Society, or checked our ABOUT on Facebook, there was a link to this blog! And perhaps you clicked that link, to discover to your dismay it had not been updated in geological ages! You have my sympathies for that wasted time, and for the tragic revelation that your beloved SAS Officers were not, alas, perfect. We dropped the ball.
But now we’re resurrecting the blog and returning it to its former glory. We shall bring posts ! Updates! Additional things that a blog does! We shall weave a potent web of social media to bind all of our current members, prospective students, and alumni together! So keep an eye on the blog! Bookmark, or whatever it is you kids do!

This Sunday, 10/14, is weekly meeting! We will be discussing strategies and answering any questions about the 24 Hour Comics Day event on October 20-21! Furthermore, in association with residence life and housing, we’ll be presenting a special first of its kind sequential art and comics themed gameshow! participate and win prizes!
The following week is the big day, 24 Hour Comics Day! 24 pages in 24 hours! 10 am Saturday through 10am Sunday! Draw! Eat! Draw! Drink! Draw! Win fabulous prizes!
After that is our Spook-tacular SAS Halloween Meeting on Oct. 28! It will be a scream! If you disagree you’re dead wrong! Bring your fiends and we’ll scare up some fun!
