President: Katie Leidner

Currently, I am pursuing an MA in Arts Administration. I recently earned my BFA in Glass at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with my peers and lead an organization full of talented, emerging art professionals.

Vice-President:Ha’ ani Hogan

I am an Arts Administration graduate student at SCAD. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Museum Studies, Art History, and Costume Design from the University of Arizona. I dedicate a lot of my time to organizations like the Savannah Children’s Theater and Savannah Film Festival. I’m interested in many different career opportunities in the arts administration field. So, I am very glad to be a part of the SAM team and look forward to a year of exciting and memorable experiences.

Treasurer: Tara Shiver

I am a graduate student in the Arts Administration department. My background is focused in Clarinet Performance. I enjoy events planning and fundraising. I am excited to be treasurer of SAM this year!

Secretary: Melissa Gilleland

Hey everyone! I’m from Tallahassee, FL. I got by Bachelor’s from Florida State University in Art History, and I just started working on my Master’s in Arts Administration this fall. I’m especially interested in museums and galleries. I’m excited to work with SAM this year- hopefully we will have some great events!

Hello All!  I graduated last year from U. New Hampshire where I got my degree in the fine arts. I cant wait to meet everybody at the many great events we are planning for this year!

Vice-President: David Diamond

My name is David Diamond.  I am an undergrad from Pensacola, FL majoring in production design with a minor in Arts and Entertainment Management. I love theatre and I plan on going into theatre management. In addition to my work with SAM I am a Co-Director of the SCAD Orientation Assistants and an intern with the SCAD arts administration department. I also spend a lot of time stage managing SCAD mainstage productions including The Shape of things and Macbeth. That’s a little about me, and I hope to learn about you when you come to the next meeting of SAM!

Secretary: Katherine Lilac

Greetings SAMS! I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston, spent a few years in Indiana, and just started here at SCAD in the fall. I’m getting my master’s in Arts Administration. I have a special interest in contemporary visual art and working with artists. Holler at me!

Treasurer: Laura Beth Schiller

Hi Everyone! I started the M.A. Arts Administration program in Savannah last fall. I am originally from Kentucky, where I got by B.A. in Arts Administration, with a focus in visual art. I’m very excited about S.A.M and all of the great events we are planning for the coming months!

Public Relations and Media Relations Representative: Maggie Brown

Hi everyone! I moved to Savannah in September after graduating from the U. of Mississippi. I have a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and have a background in visual/performing arts. If anyone has any suggestions for media outlets, let me know so we can educate as many people about S.A.M. as possible! :)
