A doodler, a poet, a reader, a producer/DJ, a singer, a dancer,
a word enthusiast, an audio nerd, and a thinker of long thoughts.
I am an artist.
Ever since I was little, I’ve had art on the brain. But, ever since I was little, I’ve been told to do something more “substantial” with my life. My high school didn’t have a full-fledged art program until I was in my freshman year of college and I didn’t take a single formal art lesson from the time I was 6 through my junior year of high school.
That changed in the summer of 2010 when I attended a SCAD Summer Seminar. Life changed actually. I found out that there are places where being educated also means being creatively fulfilled. After that week, I immediately knew that SCAD was where I should be.
So now I’m here and loving it. I’m pursuing an M.A. in Sound Design and part of a community of weirdos who like listening to things for fun, which is pretty much a dream come true. I’m so excited about the possibilities and the journey ahead of me. I can’t wait to see how my story unfolds here.
