I worked on a project named INfound Scroll, a parallax infographic foundation, it performed well but was not responsive enough for my needs. I decided to put together a responsive parallax scrolling system. I named the script Rarallax…responsive parallax!
The Rarallax script has support for scrolling the background position on sections as well as divs that have dynamic heights that are relative to the remaining space or can even be set to a %, so it allowed for dynamic content but most importantly correct window resizing with dynamic heights! It was definitely faster and a lot more responsive. I then paired it with a scroll to navigation with an active states.
When the time came to put Rarallax to the test creating a parallax scrolling example of our solar system, capturing the distance between planets.
