- BibMe
- Databases such as Wilson Omnifile Mega and Art Fulltext will create citations for you, under the Print/Email/Save function

- Artcyclopedia is an index of online museums and image archives.
- The Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History comes from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and is great for images and background information.
- Art History Resources on the Web comes to us from a professor at Sweet Briar College.
- The School of Art & Design out of the University of Michigan sponsors the Mother of All Art & Art History Pages.
- Web Gallery of Art comes is hosted by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and is a good resource for European painting from the 12th-19th centuries.
