In November 2007, the Savannah College of Art and Design created the Quality Enhancement Plan Advisory Committee for the purpose of guiding the institution through the process of creating a plan for enhancing the quality of student learning at the college, commonly referred to as the Quality Enhancement Plan, or QEP. Members of the QEP Advisory Committee were either nominated by, or are members of the President’s cabinet. As part of the college’s commitment to student learning as articulated through its mission statement, and in line with the reaffirmation visit to the campus in early 2010, the QEP represents a commitment to teaching and learning and the enhancement of both through a demonstrated culture of evidence. The makeup of the committee is designed address all areas of the college and their commitment to meeting the mission of SCAD.
The QEP Advisory Committee organized this website with the assistance of Academic Services, Institutional Effectiveness, Information Management and Technology, and the President’s cabinet, and in accordance with SACS-COC, Principles Of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement (2008 Interim Edition) (Added 01/09/08)
