Midterms already?!
It’s midterms once again and we hope you all are doing well! But dont let midterms cloud your head, there is still lots of work to be done for the Gender Bender ball that is next week!

Where: Cafe SCAD Ballroom
When: Oct. 24th
Time: 8pm-midnight
The next meeting (Oct 22th) will be the last meeting before the ball so we need to get as much of the decor done then. And get your costumes ready! Song requests are also being taken on the facebook group!

Sooo. I kind of bought streamers, colorful mardi gras beads and balloons to donate to the event. <3 So excited.

Also, I’ve been doing a lot of pondering this weekend and I had a sort of idea. I’m not sure if we were seriously planning on the retreat thing this quarter but if we don’t I had an event that I would be willing to plan and organize. I know it’s hard for a lot of people to go home for the holidays, myself included and I was willing to throw a Thanksgayving before the quarter is over. It could just be a really relaxed potluck thing. I don’t know. Holidays are hard but it seems like a good last get together.

@jen: I think we definitely SHOULD organize something. once I’m out of Midterms well and truly I’ll throw my back into making something happen alongside you. Until then, we can continue to try and see if there are any places around here within a reasonable distance that we could possibly utilize. I know of one, but I’m sure there are more.
It’s GREAT of you to volunteer to organize this. Kudos on you! I’m extremely impressed, this made my day.

I now live within driving distance and not flight distance from SCAD now so I’d love to plan something at the end of the year!
