About the first meeting…
If you missed the first Q&A meeting of the Fall 2009 quarter, no worries! Here is a review of some of the key things you may need to know:
[Equality Across America; Washington DC March: Oct. 10-11]
Stand Out Youth (SOY) is providing limited transportation to this march for this interested. They/we will be leaving to drive there the 9th and will return the 12th.
[Atlanta Pride: Oct. 31 - Nov. 1]
For those who missed out on Savannah Pride, here is the chance to make it to an even bigger and more popular pride event.
Next meeting we are having a panel from a few of our officers and elite members.
And! We had an awesome turn out of 54 people (if I counted correctly). Wonderful to have met you all, we hope to see you throughout the year! And those who didn’t come, we hope to see you too. <3

I second that! YAY! The group is getting so large…54 people. Only two people replying to the blog. Hmpf. They need to work on that one. :p

Yay! Way to go us! Hopefully that number will just keep getting bigger. The more the merrier, and certainly the more we can get done!

So… does that mean there will be transportation to Atlanta Pride, or is this a heads-up?

Rebecca,
We are currently planning out how we will transport the group to Atlanta. Hopefully, we can rent buses to get us down there. Right now we don’t have a head count as to how many people will be attending, so we just ask that you wait it out and in a couple of weeks will we get this information out to everyone.
Glad that you’re interested! It’s going to be such an exciting trip!

Hey I am trying to get together a group to go to the March for Equality! If anyone wants to go, I can take four more people in my car. If I can get a group of five, it will cost roughly sixty bucks each to get there and back, not including expenses for food. I meant to mention this at tonight’s meeting but it totally slipped my mind.
I really want to go, but there’s no way I’m going on my own. I’ll be at the SOY meeting tomorrow, but if any of our fine officers wants to send out a Facebook message with my info that’d rock!
