PhotoGroupers we are at it again! Another meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, October 21st in Bergen Hall, Room 106. We have a lot to cover so here is a little brief:
1. Gallery entry forms, CDs, and $5 cash are DUE next meeting, THIS WEDNESDAY THE 21ST, 8PM BERGEN HALL, ROOM 106. We will not accept any entry unless those three things are present or you have spoken with an officer prior to the drop off. If you cannot attend the meeting and would still like to participate please e-mail us immediately at photo@scad.edu. The theme for the show is “Weightlessness”, all things are acceptable which reference the mind to this word or anything it implies. That means work revolving around space and those things extraterrestrial to select studio work to magazine fashion work and even fine art. The only requirements are that your work is appropriate in a typical gallery setting and it visually connects the mind to our theme. The photographs will be reviewed by a group of students and professors. Please do not hesitate to take this chance because you are not sure if your works fits within the category or it’s not good enough - we want to see work from all levels and of all types. We hope to make this our best show yet!
2. We will also be holding an open model casting call to spruce up PhotoGroup’s already very cool “Model Book”. We will be seriously working this year to make our book a viable source for model info in Bergen Hall. If you are interested in helping with this effort in any way (even just modeling) please attend our next meeting.
3. We are in the very beginning stages of planning an inter-club party/social with a Halloween theme. We would like to include an awesome raffle and food as well as pretty killer music. If you have any ideas or input WE WANT YOU AT THIS MEETING!
Long story short - PhotoGroup is having a meeting this Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 and we all want you to be there!
