Concentration and Isolation7

In today’s project we were instructed to create 2 designs in a square format to create isolation and concentration, to control the viewers focal point and lead their eyes through the piece.  Below is my attempt.  The first one is my isolation piece and the second one is my concetration piece. Enjoy! :)

Wow I really like these pieces! I especially like the leaves piece. It seems like it could be in a story book! I think you really got the concept of the project as well as putting your own personality into it!

    Greetings Olympia!

First off…I think your names is awesome! Great job on the both designs. It’s interesting because they are quite simplistic but very direct. I like the isolation design a lot…the play with the lines (or I see string) and then the sudden knot is a very cleaver idea.

Hey! I really like your concentration piece. the leaves appear almost to be part of the tree yet you managed to keep it non representational.

Hi Olympia! The leaf piece is really nice. I like how the leaves in the corner interlock and hold focus so well.

The isolation is super cool, simple and well done miss ma’am.

I think the bow one is really cute! It seems simple, but I hadn’t even thought of incorporating lines with shapes for isolation! And the falling leaves look lovely.

I like both of your designs! They are simple yet, give good examples of both. I like the isolation piece. Very nice!
