Hello everyone!
Somehow we only have a few short weeks until the end of Spring Quarter! Where has the time gone? First of all I want to thank everyone that has been involved with MOMELove this year because we did some great things and it wouldn’t have happened without the support of our group! This year we did a lot: we gained valuable insight into some of our faculty members, we got to see great speakers like Lee Hunt and Doug Grimmett through the Inspire lecture series, hopefully many of us had beneficial encounters at the Career Fair (thanks to Professor Boortz for giving us a guide to be prepared properly), we got to interact more with other student clubs and departments like 16×9 and some graduate projects, and most of all we started a CoMotion!
We did a lot of big things this year and this club has the potential to do even more! Our last meeting of the school year is tomorrow, Tuesday, at 8pm room 311! We are going to have pizza and reflect on what we accomplished this year as well as goals for next year. Personally I see big things in MOMELove’s future and I hope you come out not only for the food but also for the officer elections. A lot of the students that made these big things happen this year would be great leaders in this club and if you think you can make things happen then run for office!
