For some reason, my work that I did on the computer cannot be uploaded to a post due to “security reasons”. This is a picture of the computer taken with my cell phone. It is a little off due to the fact that I did not want the reflection of my head to show in the background.

As soon as I am able to figure out another way to do this I will upload the proper image.

Sorry for not being tech-savy, I’m learning…

I chose to re-do this piece because I thought it had the most potential. The original, which is posted below, seemed a bit boring to me and lacked “pahzazz”. There were no comments on my piece during class besides pointing out a few craftsmanship errors. I hope that you all enjoy this piece much more than the previous one.

I ended up using this pattern for my final piece. Looking back, I realize that perhaps there were some things I could have done differently that would have improved the piece. During class, a few of you commented that this piece was somewhat boring to look at. Another person suggested that I should have used the smaller squares instead of the larger ones. I agree completely, thank you for the constructive criticism.

Welcome to my blog! As you may know, my name is Mandalin Hennessee and I am a Freshman here at SCAD. I am currently majoring in historic preservation and minoring in art history. The most important “person” in my life right now is my beloved cat, Waters. Unfortunately, due to SCAD policies, I am currently separated from her. Next semester, however, Waters and I will be able to live together in harmony once again.
